This afternoon we had a visit from the fire fighters from Plympton fire station. They told use a story about an insect that messed around with matches and ended up burning down the whole village. We then watched a video that showed us what to do if there was a fire in our house and played a game that helped us to look for hazards at home (http://kids.direct.gov.uk/main.aspx?firstObject=teachers_area). Unfortunately we didn't get to look in the fire engine because they had to rush off to a real emergency.
